The OGI Genomics Core has three Applied Biosystems, Inc. Sanger sequencers at its disposal:
1) 3730xl DNA Analyzer
2) 3130xl DNA Analyzers (2x)
These instruments are configured/certified to perform the following analyses:
- Research-based Sanger sequencing
- Research-based fragment analysis
- Multiplex Ligation Probe-Dependent Amplification (MLPA) analysis
- CLIA-certified diagnostic Sanger sequencing variant confirmation analysis
