NGS Sequencing:

The Genomics core provides a wide range of next generation sequencing services. We offer amplicon, whole plasmid, and RNA library preparation, along with whole exome sequencing, selective exon capture and next generation sequencing NGS (for ocular disease genes RetNeT, glaucoma, optic neuropathy), and whole genome sequencing, and RNA sequencing for transcriptome analyses. We can also assist you with your custom sequencing project, please contact us for a consultation or request a quote.

The OGI Genomics Core has two Illumina NGS platforms at its disposal:

1) HiSeq 2500
2) MiSeq

The information below offers some general guidelines for researchers to consider to consider when deciding on the ideal analysis platform depending on their project aims and scope, as well as the sample cohort type and size.
